Heacham bounced back from Saturday's controversial defeat at Soham Town Rangers with a fine midweek win at Sheringham last night.
The Magpies secured a 3-0 win against the Shannocks to give Paul Hunt's side their fourth league win in five games.
Striker Colby Wood netted a brace for Heacham with a goal in each half before Andy Willmott completed the scoring in the second half.
Magpies boss Hunt said: "The players showed good energy levels considering the taxing run of two games a week we have had.
"New signings Tom Harwood came on and showed some nice touches while James Suckling came in at right back and played well.
"It was a good squad win as the starting 11 limited opportunities for Sherringham and created a good number of chances and all the subs came on and contributed to winning the three points."
The win leaves Heacham 14th in the Premier Division standings ahead of Saturday's home game against Kirkley & Pakefield at Station Road.
