Heacham F.C. – Update
Many thanks for taking the time to read this
update on our great village Football Club. We
hope you enjoy it.
On The Pitch
The first team remain unbeaten after 5 league games and
currently occupy top spot in this very tough division.
A 4-2 home win vs Caister, followed by a resilient display
(ending the game with 9 men) and a 3-2 home win vs Long
Stratton ensured top spot was retained.
Sandwiched in-between the two league results was a comprehensive
6-0 home win vs Gorleston Res in the first round of the Mummery
Cup, setting up a 2nd round home tie vs Dussindale & Hellesdon
Rovers to be played on 2nd Oct KO 2.00pm.
Nathan Davies celebrated notching up 100 games and 100 goals
for the club, and Jack Defty celebrated his 40th birthday.
Congratulations to both.
In reserve team news, Heacham FC Res also currently remain
unbeaten. An away 2-2 draw at Denver FC, followed by a 4-3
home win vs Gayton United, ensure the team sit top of their
division after 2 games played.
Well done to both teams on a fantastic start to their respective
