SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The Club are very pleased to announce their new partnership with “Searle’s Leisure Resort” and “Heacham Manor Hotel” who have agreed to sponsor all league games for the season, as well as taking out some advertising boards.
The Club are delighted to commence a partnership with one of the leading businesses in the local area.

THE TEAMS

1ST TEAM (playing in The Thurlow Nunn Premier Division)

Unfortunately our interest in The Emirates F.A. Cup came to an abrupt end at Harleston Town, losing 4-0 on the day.
However, we still have our Isuzu F.A. Vase cup tie to look forward to on Saturday 24th August, away to Diss Town k.o. 3pm (a report will appear in next month's Newsletter).

PRE-SEASON RESULTS

Tues 16th July home v Leverington - unfortunately was cancelled
Sat 20th July home v Wisbech - won 1-0

It has been a very busy start to the league season and although results have not gone our way totally, the team should be proud of their performances so far, considering its a new team and the squad has been badly affected by availability of players. However, this has given the opportunity to some of our U18 players to step up to first team duty and they have certainly not let the side down.
It is good to report that the team recorded their first win of the season against Woodbridge Town by 2 goals to 1.

RESERVE TEAM (playing in The Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination Div 4
North).

The pre-season campaign has seen four good games against established teams. It has been a fresh start this season for the reserves and has produced a large squad which includes a very high percentage of youth players (of which some have already featured in the first team squad).

PRE-SEASON RESULTS

Away v Wells - won 4-1
Home v Fakenham ‘A’ - won 4-1
Home v Reffley - lost 3-4
Away v Clenchwarton - won 3-2

The league season finally got underway on Saturday 17th August with an away game v North Walsham Town Res, which unfortunately resulted in a 0-3 loss.,

Only the following fixtures have been released so far:-

Saturday 31st August away v Madra k.o. 2.15pm
Saturday 7th Sept home v Gayton United Res k.o. 2.15pm
All above are league matches.

U18’s TEAM (playing in The Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League)

The team has played and won 2 friendlies very convincing:-

6-0 win away v Swaffham U18’s
7-0 win home v Norwich CSF U18’s

However, the majority of the U18’s have been involved with playing for the reserve team in their pre-season friendlies and it is expected that many will feature in the reserve team throughout the season.

Confirmation has now been received and the team will be playing in the North division.

Matchday Admission Prices

1st Team Match Day Admission Prices for 2024/5 Season have been announced and are as follows:-
(for league and cup matches)
ADULT - £8 or
£6 for Members of either Heacham Social Club or Heacham F C Supporters Club.
CONCESSIONS - £6 or
£4 for Members of either Heacham Social Club or Heacham F C
Supporters Club.
CHILDREN (under 16s) - £1

You will need to show an up to date Membership Card, to take advantage of the reduced prices.

Thurlow Nunn U18s Match Day Admission Prices for 2024/5 Season are as follows (for all games):-

ALL ADULTS - £2.50

CHILDREN (under 16s) - £1.

NOTE:- All reserve games are free entry.

Season Ticket Prices for 2024/5

ADULT - £96

CONCESSIONS - £64

CHILDREN (under 16s) - £16

Prices have been held for the second consecutive season. Season Ticket Holders will also get free entry into Thurlow Nunn U18 games.

Note: Season Tickets do not include Cup or Friendly matches.

Season Tickets can be purchased from the Club Shop on match days.

Pin Badges

The Official Heacham F C pin badge and the Anglian Combination Premier Champions 2021/2 pin badge are now priced both at only £3 each and both can be purchased on match days but they are also available from behind the bar at The Heacham Sports & Social Club.

Match Day Programmes

Did you miss collecting any programmes ? There are a limited number of programmes still available from some games for the 2022/3 & 2023/4 seasons. Please get in touch (email address shown below) with any requirements you have and I will check our stock.

The 2024 “50/50 Club”

The next draw is due to take place on Saturday 31st August after the home league game v Thetford Town. Details of our winners will be published in next month's Newsletter.

The September draw will take place on Saturday 14th, after the home league game v Gt Yarmouth Town.

Supporters Club News

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS:-

Supporters Club Membership for the 2024/5 season is now available. The cost is £5 for the season (price held for the 5th consecutive season). With every membership taken out, you will receive an exclusive “Heacham F C Supporters Club” Pen. (additional pens can also be purchased @ £1.50 each). There are many benefits, with discounts available from local businesses. Also all Heacham F C Supporter Club Members can also claim reduced admission prices to watch the 1st Team. With the Club running 3 teams this coming season, the Supporters Club are very keen to support all 3 and our target this season is to get membership over that 200 mark (we have been close the last 2 seasons with 194 and 192 members). So please renew (if you haven't already) or join and get all your family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues etc to join also. It’s great value for only a fiver and you will help us to help our truly wonderful Football Club.

NEW COMPETITION FOR 2024/5 SEASON:-

The new competition called “GOALS/GOALS/GOALS” is now up and running. All 40 groups have been sold, with each group consisting of 4 teams. The teams have been taken from the Football, Scottish and National League (no premiership teams included) and randomly put into groups of 4 teams. At the end of the season the group with the most goals combined (league goals only) will win the 1st prize and there is also a runner-up prize.
1st prize - £140
Runner-up - £60

The early leaders of the competition are:-

Maureen Cooper, Peter Salazar & Mark McDonnell = all on 18 goals

Throughout the season the leader board will be published in the Newsletter, in the Match Day Programme and on the Heacham FC Supporters Club Facebook page.
